For the truly dedicated UCF alumni, there could be no other place to have their wedding than on campus at the best University in the state of Florida. So that is exactly what Lynn & Matt did! The UCF Alumni Center in the heart of campus played host to their nuptials in mid-March, and despite the looming pandemic, everything went off without a hitch for this wonderful couple!
We worked with Lynn and Matt for almost a full year as she planned every detail of their wedding. She was in control of everything and came to us looking for help making her vision become a reality and ensuring everything would go smoothly on the wedding day. Fortunately, that's our specialty here at P.S. I Love You Productions, so it was a perfect fit!
This was a perfect case for the value of a coordinator, as we helped overcome various small bumps in the road, worked to answer questions with various vendors on Lynn's behalf, organized all the vendors for the day of the wedding, and planned with the Alumni Center staff to ensure all safety protocols and considerations were in place as advised by national and local authorities at that time. There was no way COVID (or anything else) was going to stop this amazing couple from (safely) having their day!
Situated right along Memory Mall, where all true UCF alumni and fans have tailgated at least once over the years, the Alumni Center is the perfect blend of outdoor and indoor spaces for any sized wedding. The ceremony took place in front of the building, the cocktail hour utilized the fenced-in area that runs along Memory Mall with an excellent view of the arena and all the athletic village has to offer. The ballroom where the party happened opens to the outdoor space for everyone to enjoy, and the getting ready spaces are perfectly suited for the purpose. The one and only Knightro, mascot of all UCF athletics, even stopped by to spend time with the couple and their guests!
