We met Djess and Shane more than a year before their April 2022 wedding, when they were looking for a wedding planner who could give them every bit of help they might need on their journey to the aisle. Our Long Kiss Goodnight package, where we attend meetings, help with staying on budget, and more, was exactly what this wonderful couple wanted!
We worked alongside the couple to secure all their vendors and plan exactly what the big day would look like, right down to the place cards and decor pieces at the gorgeous Bella Cosa Lakeside Lodge in Lake Wales.
Finally the big day arrived, and per tradition, both the ladies and gentlemen gathered at the venue to get ready and enjoy some last minute bonding before it was time to say their vows. While they prepared, our team along with the incomparable Atmospheres Floral worked hard to secure the flowers and other decor against the 25 mile-per-hour winds coming off the lake. With a lot of strategic floral wire, columns and tulle, the aisles were draped and the flowers secured against the buffeting breezes.
Once the vows were said and everything was official, it was time to party! The new Mr. and Mrs. were announced to their guests and shared a beautiful first dance with some serious skill!
The couple showed off their smooth moves on the dance floor the rest of the night, partying with their friends and family to the musical stylings of DJ Stasia. In a flash, the party was over, but not before the couple was treated to a fabulous exit surrounded by their guests with sparklers on all sides (lit by the Bella Cosa and P.S. I Love You teams)! It was the perfect end to a magical night that saw the bride and groom off to begin their lives together!
