Last week we toured the gorgeous Lake Mary Event Center, a venue we had not worked in several years and were excited to see again! This incredible space has so many amazing features, high levels flexibility for every part of your wedding, and a stunning waterfront view that you must see to believe!
But let's go back to the very beginning! When you first arrive to the property, you will see a huge portico-covered brick driveway with immense possibilities for celebrating your guests' arrival (valet, red carpet, paparazzi, etc!).
The front of the house also offers this amazing patio, complete with rocking chairs perfect for relaxing before your guests head in to start the party. This is also a fantastic spot for your cocktail hour festivities.
Once inside, guests are greeted with a beautiful main hall, where couples can utilize a table and TV for their gift table and slideshow presentation for guests to enjoy.
As you proceed into the building there is a long hall on the left side, backing up onto the porch. This is a long, wide space that is perfect for cocktail hour and also is used for buffet service for larger parties. As it backs up onto the patio, this is the perfect space that allows the guests to utilize the inside and outside spaces of this fabulous venue.
One of our favorite things about this venue is the plethora of options you have for the ceremony site. There are at least three different places on the lakefront in the back of the building, two of which have beautiful trellises in the background. Of course the other option is directly in front of the lake, with the sunset behind you! The lawn can accommodate as many as 300 people in one configuration, and the facility staff will work with you to choose the best option. The gorgeous Rotonda faces the lake as well, and is a stunning option for the summer months or as a rain backup if needed. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows which let in an incredible amount of light, and make the room feel like an extension of the outdoor space.
The Grand Ballroom can hold up to 300 people in its most spacious configuration, and comes complete with three video screens for couples to use for slideshows, videos, and anything else they can dream up with their DJ or videographer. And of course the entire length of the room looks out onto the gorgeous back patio and lakefront!
