One of our most recent weddings is also one of our favorites in recent memory! Victoria and John chose early March for their wedding at Highland Manor in Apopka, with a Harry Potter theme!! Being huge fans of The Boy Who Lived, we naturally loved every detail of this fabulous party. Read on to see more amazing pictures of the beautiful day!
As is usually the case, it's the details of each wedding day that capture our hearts and memories, and the wedding of Victoria and John was no exception. The bride's bouquet had beautiful pops of blue on a field of white, the whole thing a delicate wood creation that truly appear to be authentic flowers. The fabulous Harry Potter themed cookies were a sight to behold, such amazing details, especially on the Golden Snitch and Harry's scar!
The decor continued the HP theme, as the aisle runner was comprised of pages from the book, allowing the couple to walk toward their new life together along their favorite story of love and courage. Even the table decor was pages from the books, with the table numbers borrowing their design from the legendary Marauder's Map.
And what Potter themed wedding would be complete without wands? Each guest was made a wizard for the day, as they held their wands aloft to send off the bride and groom to begin their lives together! So many creative and thoughtful details, and a wonderful example of what can be done to make your wedding stand out from the crowd and give you the treasured memories that will last a lifetime!
