Real Wedding | Carolyn & Matt at Highland Manor!

Updated: Apr 13, 2022

Decor inspired by the Disney Pixar animated classic Up! and a gorgeous early fall day combined to make an epic wedding for Carol and Matt at historic Highland Manor!

Anyone who knows us knows that Disney and themed weddings are two of our favorite things, so there was no way this wedding wasn't making the blog! The bride and groom crated such amazing decor, it just begs to be shown off, so that is what we're going to do, courtesy of the gorgeous photos from PB & J Studios!

As you can see, the little touches and odes to the movie are just too adorable. We couldn't decide which was our favorite, so we included them all! Those shoes! The mailbox! The Stitch bouquet! So much Disney goodness, we just can't.

Soon enough it was time for the ceremony, which of course was accompanied by balloons!

An Up-themed unity-candle ceremony cemented the couple's vows, and then they were married!

The reception decor was just as glorious as the rest of the day, with custom lanterns and absolutely stunning cakes made by Aunt Gingibread!

Before they knew it, the time had come for the bride and groom to make their escape into the rest of their lives. Flanked on all sides by their loved ones, with lots of bubbles, the couple shared one last kiss...

One more glorious photo opportunity awaited the couple...

Then they inflated the balloons and carried away Highland Manor into the sky on their way to their Happy Ever After!

Just kidding, the house is still there, we promise, but it looks pretty convincing!

This amazing vendor team made sure every single detail was perfect for Carol & Matt's special day, ensuring they had the wedding of their dreams!
